The morning session will focus on a choice of either ‘Kitchen’ or ‘Garden’ stream.
Use the garden opportunity to see a different layout and compare how it could be done at your school. Share and gather ideas from other gardeners, and bring along your top tips plus any excess plants/seeds to share.
In the kitchen, we'll enjoy a Mexican feast based on Anna Gare's menu from our recent Western Australian workshop, with time for discussions on the best shortcuts and top tips in the kitchen.
In the afternoon, we'll share experiences and learn about effective teaching ideas in the kitchen and garden, as well as discuss ongoing concerns around fundraising and budgeting. There will also be a chance to get further acquainted with the Shared Table.
To finish the day, you'll enjoy another hands-on activity with a discussion on deepening and developing the learning opportunities within the Program, and its links to your school curriculum.
While members are welcome to attend this workshop, if you have just joined the Kitchen Garden Classroom we recommend you attend the Delivering Kitchen Garden Classes workshop in Sydney on 28 July.

Please wear comfortable clothing for kitchen and garden workshops and closed shoes. Bring a hat/wet weather gear/sunscreen as appropriate, a camera, notebook and pen.
