Riki Kaspi will be creating a beautiful Middle Eastern feast for the senses and expand participants' knowledge of how to use spices to create beautiful meals.

Riki was born in Israel into a multicultural environment that revolved around food. Her Turkish mother came from a family of dedicated and intuitive home cooks: 'There were no recipe books,' says Riki, 'recipes had always been handed down orally.'

After training as a chef, Riki travelled with her jazz saxophonist husband, Heni, working in restaurants around France. While expanding her French repertoire she developed the idea of establishing her own French-style bistro. When she and Heni immigrated to Australia she realised her dream by taking over Riki Blake's North Perth Café, winning critical acclaim for her cosy, intimate little place that specialised in North African and Middle Eastern cuisine. Riki and Heni sold the café early in 2009 and embarked on travel again to Europe and the Middle East. On their return Riki started teaching at The Cooking Professor – she is now co-owner.

Riki is now introducing her exciting, 'Moroccan Chermoula Marinades' products that immerse you in the heart of Morocco.
