
Angelo Eliades joins us for the first time, to discuss some of the general concepts of urban permaculture, food forests and using water gardens for food production. This session is for anybody wishing to further their permaculture knowledge, and who would like the opportunity to discuss these concepts more deeply with Angelo.
Details
Angelo has been involved in organic gardening since 2004, is a qualified trainer, technical writer and a presenter with tertiary qualifications in the biomedical sciences. He completed his PDC in 2008. Angelo’s specialty is in designing urban food forests, and he has been a vocal advocate of the benefits of food forests ever since he designed and built Melbourne’s first demonstration permaculture backyard food forest in 2008, which sees hundreds of visitors every year attend the regular garden tours and workshops. He runs sustainable gardening educational website Deep Green Permaculture, which has been running since 2008 and has international readership, and teaches people all about Permaculture through a blend of theory, case studies and interesting DIY projects.
