Woy Woy Public School is situated on the Peninsula area of the Central Coast on the Brisbane Waters inlet. Established in 1884, it possesses a proud and colourful history stemming from early railway settlements. Due to its unique colour, the school is known as the 'blue school' in the community. It is a diverse school with a Department of Education and Training Preschool on the grounds, as well as four Disabilities Programs classes. These classes are for Early Intervention, and students with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities, and Autism. The school has a significant Aboriginal population as well as students with Language other than English backgrounds.
