Birlirr Ngawiyiwu (Spirit of God) Catholic School was founded in 1986 by the Sisters of St Joseph, upon request from the Djaru Community. It is an integral part of life for the Kundat Djaru people with an enrolment of 58 students from Pre-Kindy to Yr 7. The school is located in the remote East Kimberley region. A unique focus for the school is the two-way learning of Jaru and English.
