Help us change how Australian children learn about food

Thursday, June 1, 2017

The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that relies on donations and financial support from partners to help children form positive food habits for life.

For over 15 years, the Foundation has been nurturing the growth of pleasurable food education around Australia. More than 175,000 students per year are now learning how to grow, harvest, prepare and share fresh, seasonal and delicious food. We couldn’t have done it without our much-loved donors.

There is a growing global awareness of the power of food education to achieve long-lasting health outcomes, and the Foundation is taking advantage of this groundswell of support to extend the reach of pleasurable food education and engage more students than ever before.

Please consider a donation to the Foundation. Over the next 12 months, your donations will help the Foundation to:

  • publish new kitchen garden resources, including publications for early years and secondary school sectors
  • build IT capacity to deliver easy, affordable access to online resources
  • empower educators with more professional development opportunities
  • continue crucial work with governments to reach communities in need.

Donate online today.

Every dollar donated goes directly towards helping the Foundation to support schools and learning centres to deliver pleasurable food education.
