Mushrooms aplenty this May

Mushrooms are delicious, versatile, full of goodness, and a bit intriguing. Did you know they can double in size in 24 hours, and can even hollow out a whole tree if that’s where they choose to grow? And that Coles growers Costa farms produce an astonishing 8 million mushrooms per week?

We’re intrigued, we want to know more, and hope you do too! We’ve gathered together ripper recipes, fact-packed educational resources, a Q&A with Costa farmer John and children from Southmoor Primary School, and a fun word find competition. 

Frankly there’s not mush-room for more.
