Fadden Primary School is located in the southern Canberra suburb of Fadden in the district of Tuggeranong. The school opened in 1985 and was named after Sir Arthur Fadden, a former Prime Minister of Australia. The school motto Aiming for Excellence reflects the mission of the school which is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students learn both academic and social skills which enable them to achieve personal success and build strong social relationships. The core values of Fadden Primary are: Respect: respect for people opinions and property; Confidence: displaying confidence and doing ones best and Responsibility: being responsible and organised.
