Wananami Remote Community School is situated in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia and is 500km north of Broome on the Gibb River Road. The school is in the Indigenous Community of Kupingarri and on Mt Barnett station. It is near several attractive tourist destinations including waterfalls and gorges. Wananami caters for students aged from 4 to 17. The students are predominantly indigenous. There are 3 teachers a Principal a Registrar and 5 local non teaching staff.
