Professional Development Coordinator

The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation (SAKGF) is looking for a motivated Professional Development Coordinator to support our national Community of Practice.
In this role, you’ll help educators build the skills and confidence to run successful Kitchen Garden Programs. You will coordinate and deliver engaging professional development (PD) sessions, develop learning resources, and provide direct support to our members.
The Role

Coordinate & Facilitate: Lead online and in-person PD sessions, managing everything from logistics to live delivery.

Support Educators: Respond to and support members through professional development sessions, Shared Table engagement (digital platform) and in‑person opportunities.

Resource Development: Assist in creating and updating educational materials and learning tools.

Continuous Improvement: Use member feedback and data to help refine our PD offerings in line with ACECQA and AITSL standards.
About You

Organised, collaborative, and a confident communicator.

Experience in kitchen workshop coordination, training, or community engagement.

Comfortable using digital tools (CRM/Webinar platforms) and managing logistics.

Passionate about food education and the SAKGF philosophy.

Classification: SCHADS Level 3.3.

Location: Narrm (Melbourne) based, hybrid work with possible intrastate and interstate travel
