This workshop will give an overview of aquaponics including suitable fish and plants, the benefits for a school kitchen garden, curriculum links and how to build one on a school budget.  The session will include a practical demonstration as well as plenty of time for questions and discussion.

Brendan Bolton has been involved in the Kitchen Garden Program for eight years. Four years ago Brendan installed an aquaponics system at Thomas Chirnside Primary School and since then he has developed his knowledge of aquaponics across a range of styles and system sizes.
