Every Kitchen Garden School goes through an 'implementation' phase: their application for the Program is successful, they design and construct the garden and kitchen, they begin planting and planning menus, and kitchen and garden classes are embedded into the class timetable. Once the implementation phase is complete it's launch time!

Kitchen Garden School launches are a great way to get involved with the school. They celebrate all the effort the staff, parents and children have put into the Program, welcome sponsors and supporters from the wider school community and give everyone an opportunity to present their achievements. Launches are generally school-wide events, full of food, performances and special guests – a really lovely way to introduce the Kitchen Garden Program to the school community and allow the children to show off!
