This online workshop is suitable for all Early Childhood educators who would like to learn how to save seeds with children.
During this 45 minute online workshop, we will:
- demonstrate a variety of seed saving techniques for children of different ages and stages
- explore the Shared Table for extension experiences to support planning
- hear from EC educators about how they are using this activity and their broader kitchen garden program to contribute to their service's assessment and rating
- learn how the Shared Table can be used as a QIP documentation tool
Meet the presenter
Prior to her role as Community Engagement Coordinator at the Foundation, Laura set up a kitchen garden program at the childcare centre she worked at. As an early childhood educator, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise about cooking and gardening with young children.

This online workshop will take place using Zoom. A link will be sent to all registered participants before the event. You can join the workshop using a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
