HURRY – ONLY A FEW TICKETS LEFT! Rohan Anderson is a modern-day hunter-gatherer and we’re thrilled he will be joining us to share his passion for living simply and in harmony with the land. The class will feature unique dishes created with seasonal produce and most likely some wild meat, depending on what’s available at the time. This could be yabbies, quail, duck, deer or rabbit  – you’ll have to come along to find out! The morning will conclude with a rustic lunch shared with a glass of wine and good conversation.

Rohan will lead the class through preparing wild foods with nothing glossed over – we’ll be skinning, gutting and butchering. You can either watch and learn or you can learn by getting hands-on, it’s up to you. The group will also prepare seasonal vegetable accompaniments to create a complete meal. This class is all about growing, gathering, hunting and cooking – come along and learn all the best tips from man of the land Rohan Anderson.
Describing himself not as a chef, but rather a family cook, Rohan is influenced by rustic, peasant-style cooking, with minimal fuss involved.  You won’t find him in supermarket aisles; instead he is usually wandering around his back garden, heading for a river, and traipsing through the bush or local paddocks to find his tucker. Simply put, he loves cooking with food that he’s grown, gathered, hunted, fished for or sourced locally and is passionate about influences others to do the same.
