This hands-on workshop presented by Bunningswill ensure participants are familiar with the variety of irrigation components and understand flow rates and timing controllers, and how they all fit together. You'll be able to use the extensive knowledge and skills to design irrigation systems for your own school garden.

Details

Bunnings has been an ongoing supporter of our Kitchen Garden Schools all over the country for years, with our grateful schools receiving plenty of garden supplies and advice for free from this generous sponsor. It seemed natural that we would approach Bunnings to run this hands-on irrigation workshop, as they are experts in fittings, design and supplies.

If you are joining us for this workshop and you plan to install or upgrade irrigation in your school garden, please bring along a scale drawing or map of your garden, including: infrastructure showing the mains water source, where a controller could be placed, heights of raised beds etc. This is very much a hands-on workshop and the team from Bunnings will take you through the process of understanding how irrigation systems come together.
