This workshop is for those who have previously attended a Curriculum Integration workshop, or who have been implementing the Kitchen Garden Program within their curriculum for some time. The garden and kitchen are authentic sites for inquiry-based learning across all streams of the new Australian curriculum. This in-depth session will see the group move from idea generation through to workshopping and developing completed units that can be used in the classroom to integrate learnings from the Kitchen Garden Program with the school curriculum.

Details

Developed particularly for teaching staff, although all school staff are welcome, this in-depth workshop develops the outcomes from previous workshops that introduced the Kitchen Garden Program as a resource for achieving student learning outcomes. Beginning with idea generation and finishing the day with completed units of work, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from Kitchen Garden Program school leaders who will guide and mentor the groups while sharing their own stories and skills.
