Register for this tour to explore the school's productive and beautiful veggie garden, developing urban orchard, and impressive home-style teaching kitchen. This tour is suitable for anyone wishing to gain insight into the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.
Online registrations are essential. Please meet outside the Reception Office of Whalan Public School – you will be met there by a staff member of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation. The tour runs for approximately 45 minutes, at a cost of $15 per person. All proceeds go to supporting the work of the not-for-profit Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation.
Additional Details
Please bring, as appropriate, a warm coat or a hat and sunscreen, as we spend 20 minutes or so in the garden. You are welcome to take photos for personal use only.Limited parking is available on surrounding streets - please do not park in the staff carpark.
