Nornie Bero is back by popular demand to present another engaging online session, this time on growing and cooking native sea succulents and leaves. Get inspired to incorporate indigenous ingredients in your kitchen garden experiences!
Details
Nornie will showcase some of her favourite native succulents – think samphire and karkalla, as well as native leaves such as myrtles, gums and even Geraldton wax!
She will share key growing tips, as well as inspiring cooking ideas for each ingredient. This workshop will also include a demonstration of one of Nornie’s favourite pickle recipes, – a delicious way to enjoy sea succulents. All registered participants will receive a copy of Nornie’s pickling recipe to try out in their own kitchen garden program (as well as a recording of the session to watch again!).
Bring your questions about incorporating native ingredients into your kitchen garden program and get ready to be energised and inspired by Nornie’s knowledge and passion.
