Details
This hands-on training session equips Kitchen Specialists and Garden Specialists with the essential skills and knowledge to help them plan, prepare and deliver kitchen and garden classes in their schools. We'll explore the structure and core elements of classes and discuss potential issues and challenges, while actively participating in a real-life kitchen class and garden class. Other elements covered on the day may include:
– planning and budgeting techniques
– recruiting and attracting volunteers
– tips and inspiration for kitchen and garden activities
– common issues and challenges and how to overcome them.
Additional Details
Please wear comfortable clothing for kitchen and garden workshops and closed shoes. Bring a hat/wet weather gear/sunscreen as appropriate, a camera, notebook and pen.
