Details

If you want to grow your own produce but have minimal space this class is for you. Garden guru Karen Sutherland will take you through tips on the varieties of edible plants that can thrive in non-traditional growing spaces such as balconies, shaded areas, front yards and places you can’t possibly even imagine.
You will have the opportunity to discuss your particular garden situation and your options for creating an abundant kitchen garden. Creative troubleshooting will be the order of the day.

Resources will be available to take home and you will leave feeling confident and inspired to make the most of the space you have to grow your own urban food forest.

Karen Sutherland has trained in both horticulture and permaculture and grew up in a family of farmers and home growers and is passionate about sharing her knowledge to help people grow their own abundant gardens and lessen their impact on the world. Karen’s business Edible Eden Design operates from her property Gunyah Garden in Pascoe Vale, which is regularly part of the Australian Open Garden scheme.
