Kirsty Fletcher, Garden Specialist from Narre Warren South P-12 and knowledgeable edible gardener, will demonstrate and discuss how to approach bee education in schools a practical way.

Kirsty will discuss what considerations need to be made when implementing bee hives in schools starting from the very beginning of whether or not you can have bee hives. Kirsty will also discuss ways to teach students about the importance of bees for our gardens.
